Engineering
Product Engineer
A hands-on software engineering role across our live product portfolio. You build fast with AI-assisted development — and ship what you build as production-grade, deployable software, not a demo.
Full-timeRemote (Netherlands)Full-time, flexible in consultation

The role
We build and operate seven live products ourselves, on Firebase and Google Cloud, and AI is part of how we build them — not a separate track. This role is for an engineer who works the same way: you use AI coding tools to move fast, but everything you ship is held to a production bar — tested, deployed, monitored, and maintainable by someone other than you. You'll work directly across our portfolio (SportsRally, NShop, our AI Support Platform, VvE Management System, AutoConsul, Pest Control, and RetroBoard AI), picking up real features and shipping them end to end: from Firestore data model to Cloud Functions to a UI real users touch. You'll work closely with the founders and have real say in how each product's backend evolves.
What you'll do
- Build and ship full features across our live products — front end, backend, and the Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure underneath
- Use AI coding tools as your default way of building, while holding every deliverable to a production standard: tested, deployed, documented, maintainable
- Design and maintain Firestore data models, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run services that hold up under real traffic
- Own deployments end to end — from a working feature branch to a live, monitored production release
- Debug and fix production issues across the portfolio, not just the feature you last shipped
- Work directly with the founders on architecture decisions that affect multiple products
What we look for
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or IT
- Hands-on production experience with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform
- Fluent with AI-assisted ("vibe coding") development, and disciplined enough to turn it into shippable, production-grade software — not just working prototypes
- Full-stack capable: comfortable moving between data model, backend logic, and UI
- Can own a feature from first commit to live deployment without hand-holding
What you'll get & learn
- Ownership across a real, live portfolio of seven products — not one legacy codebase
- An AI-native engineering culture: you'll sharpen how you use AI tools alongside people who build AI-first products for a living
- Direct architecture input with the founders, not layers of process between you and a decision
- Firebase and Google Cloud depth across a genuinely varied set of production systems
- Flexible remote schedule, full-time, based in the Netherlands
